Sweconpoddar 73 – How Frankenstein formed Karl Marx and made a Mermaid as well as a good AI

Mary Shelley’s novel tells us that Frankenstein’s Monster is partly made from dead livestock… and evidently the Monster’s wife is mainly assembled from fish. What if the happy couple went to live on their own in South America? Lovecraftian children? What if Nazi scientists discover this after they lose World War 2? Also, how Frankenstein shaped Das Kapital. A serious scientific talk based on textual evidence.

Talk by GoH Ian Watson at Swecon 2018.
